Intro to Computers

DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to give you exposure to the many uses and aspects of computer technology.

You will learn fundamental concepts of computer technology and explore several widely used applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and Google apps. Additionally, this course will introduce you to computer programming and provides the computational thinking skills of programming and data analysis that can be used in other classes.

Various forms of technologies will be highlighted to expose you to the emerging technologies impacting the digital world. Professional communication skills and practices, problem solving, and the impact of effective presentation skills are also taught in this course as a foundational knowledge to prepare you to be college and career ready.
