UNIT III:  Basic HTML Tags  & Structure

Essential Question:

  • How do you build a web page?
  • How can embedded style sheets save you time in building websites?

At the end of this unit, you will learn how to:

  • Build a website using basic HTML tags
  • Apply background and text colors to elements
  • Use special characters
  • Use inline style sheets
  • Create ordered, unordered, and definition lists
  • Customize the lists and modify the bullet types, numbering system, and starting value
  • Use embedded style sheets
